Born in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico, Juan Daniel Velázquez Reguero discovered his passion for electronic music at just 15 years old, immersing himself in the underground rave scene. After years of mixing experience, he got his first DJ controller in Quebec, Canada, in 2018—marking the official start of his journey as an independent artist.

His talent took him to the southern coast of Oaxaca, Mexico, where he became a resident DJ at venues like Chololos and Vista del Amor in Zipolite. There, under the alias DannyBoy, he played vibrant and soulful rhythms such as:
Folktronik, Deep Tech, Dub Reggae, Reggae Roots, Trance, Psybient, Dancehall, Minimal Tech.

In 2019, he founded Sun of a Beach, a multidisciplinary collective of DJs, performers, and artists. Together they organized raves and community-driven events at iconic venues such as Playa del Amor and La Isla Reggae Bar, sharing stages with artists from renowned labels like Play Label and Parvati Records. Under the name LF0ma Hodgkin, he expanded his sound into darker, more psychedelic territories, including:
Goa, Darkpsy, Forest Psytrance, Twilight, Raggatek, Dark Techno, Hi-Tech, Hard Trance, Acid Techno.

Now based in Quebec since 2021, Juan has taken part in exclusive house parties, tattoo shop gatherings, and underground raves, playing alternative styles such as:
EBM, Darkwave, Goth, Ska, and Punk.

His versatility allows him to adapt to a wide range of venues—from deep energetic bar sets blending Reggaeton, Tech House, Rally House, and Latin House, to Latin-inspired events that mix Cumbia, Salsa, and classic Latin American hits, always creating a warm, nostalgic, and vibrant vibe for the community.
