Official Launch of XLTRAX Academy

Sutton, Quebec – October 2025 — After more than a year of preparation, passion, and community effort, XLTRAX Productions proudly announces the official launch of XLTRAX Academy, an innovative initiative dedicated to empowering the next generation of DJs, producers, and sound creators through a mobile training and broadcasting studio.
Supported by the Fonds Mille et UN (FM1) — a joint initiative of the Secrétariat à la jeunesse du Québec and La Ruche — the campaign aims to raise $15,000 to bring this ambitious project to life.

🌟 A Day of Music, Discovery, and Community
On October 18, 2025, XLTRAX Academy will celebrate its official launch at Mont Sutton — an immersive, open, and participatory day dedicated to electronic music, creative sound exploration, and community radio.
This event marks the beginning of a regional movement to support young artists, emerging producers, and the local electronic scene through an innovative concept: a mobile studio for learning, creation, and diffusion.
🎶 Workshops and Interactive Experiences
Throughout the day (10 AM – 5 PM), visitors will have free access to various hands-on music and technology stations, including:
🎧 DJing Initiation Workshop – Learn the fundamentals of mixing using professional equipment (Pioneer, Denon, Traktor, Rekordbox).
🎵 Electronic Music Creation – Compose your first beats with Ableton Live and Cubase.
🔊 Sound Synthesis Discovery – Explore the basics of sound design, synthesis, and sound visualization tools.
🎙️ Podcasting and Radio – Learn how to create, record, and broadcast your own podcast or radio show.
Personalized coaching will be offered by XLTRAX team members and collaborators, guiding participants through their first steps in DJing and music production.
💬 Inspiring Talks and Discussions
Mini-conferences and community discussions will be held throughout the day with local artists, producers, educators, and media partners, exploring topics such as:
- The journey of an emerging DJ or producer in Quebec
- Independent music broadcasting and platforms like XLTRAX Radio
- Music as a tool for expression and community connection
- The relationship between the brain, rhythm, and sound
These exchanges will explore how creativity and collaboration can transform the way we approach artistic education and local culture.
🔥 Performances, Atmosphere, and Celebration
All day long, live DJ sets, spontaneous performances, and music animations will fill the mountain with a vibrant and inclusive energy.
Visitors will be invited to explore, learn, dance, and connect in the inspiring natural setting of Mont Sutton, surrounded by breathtaking autumn colors.
The event will close with a collective DJ Jam, bringing together artists, participants, and mentors in a shared performance to celebrate the birth of a new creative generation — the XLTRAX Academy generation.
💚 A Call to the Community and Local Businesses
The project’s first phase aims to reach $15,000 to fund:
- The acquisition of professional equipment for the mobile studio (controllers, microphones, mixers, laptops, etc.)
- The development of educational workshops in schools and youth centers
- The creation of an artistic and radio mentorship program accessible to all
Local businesses, organizations, and citizens are invited to contribute via La Ruche Estrie or become official partners of the project.
Every donation or sponsorship helps build a unique platform for youth expression, learning, and creativity.
Partners will benefit from visibility on XLTRAX Radio, during regional events, and across all media communications related to the Academy.
